|The story begins 3 years after the events of If I Stay and this time it's on Adam's POV.|
Adam has made it.
He achieved the dream of a lifetime.
His band, the Shooting Stars have made it to the top.
They're one of the biggest rock bands of the moment.
He is a rock star but he couldn't care less.
" Every morning I wake up and I tell myself this : It's just one day, one twenty-four-hour period to get yourself through."
But without Mia it doesn't mean anything.
When he lost her, he lost everything....
" A day might be just twenty-four hours but sometimes getting through just one seems as impossible as scaling Everest. "
What would it feel that the songs that made the band's breakthrough represents the biggest loss in his life? His pain? The wounds that never will heal?
Mia left for Juilliard 3 years ago and never came back. With her, she took his heart and soul.
Now Adam is about to go on tour with his band but he will stay alone one more day in NY city. He feels that he is seeing a familiar set of dark eyes. It´s a poster of Mia, she is performing that night at Carnegie Hall. So he just goes, not daring to see her or touch her, but at least to hear her music.
And so the night begins, of reconnecting...a night of confessions, guilt, hurt...a last night between once again they'll go in different paths.
" I've come to realize there's a world of difference between knowing something happened, even knowing why it happened, and believing it. Because when she cut off contact, yeah, I knew what had happened. But it took me a long, long time to believe it. Some days, I still don't quite believe ."
Can it be a night for a second chance?
This book is just AMAZING! Seriously AMAZING!
If I loved the first book, this ones just goes through the roof and in too stratosphere.

It was heartbreaking and i must confess quite painful to read and just feel through Adam...his pain, his hurt just took my breath away.
The story is just beautiful and mesmerizing... and that bridge scene? I think my heart broke in tiny million pieces.
