There are books and then are BOOKS like this one, the ones that forever will hold a special place on your heart, the ones that you know for sure they have somehow changed you irrevocably.
And you feel lucky that you got the opportunity to read them, lucky that among million books you have found it (thank god for GR!!).

By now you can see how much I LOVE this book! From the start I was just suck in, John Green have just such a compelling way of writing, that I felt I was just devouring each word. And for me one of the most essential things is how an author can make us care for fictional characters. And I cared deeply about Hazel and Augustus.

" Hazel Grace, when you're as charming and physically attractive as myself, it's easy enough to win over people you meet. But getting strangers to love, that's the trick."

Well, Augustus I can tell you by now, millions of strangers completely love you!
Oh yes...

Hazel's and Augustus story is real and raw, filled with joy and also heartbreak.
Hazel met Augustus at a Cancer Kid Support Group...she just got some more years that she was suppose to get, thanks to a new miracle drug. And Augustus is in remission, after he lost his leg. And the way their lives intersected, provoked a change in their lives and in the ones around them.

And oh boy, will you root for this star-crossed lovers!!

It's a treat to know them, they're witty, charismatic, strong and just beautiful souls. I felt like i knew them and was rooting for them. Not only for their health but also for them to get everything they dreamed of.

This review is not that coherent, I realize that but I just don't want to give that much away. It's an experience to live it all, to feel the injustice, to feel sorrow and pain, to feel joy and above all love. And you'll get so much love in it, a parents love for their child, a best friend love (Isaiac is awesome too) and also the kind of love of a lifetime, that few's are lucky to find.

You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world, old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.

So if you haven't read it, go grab a copy, you won't regret it. It's truly one of a kind book.

"You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I'm grateful."
