Avoiding Commitment (Avoiding #1)

Rating : 4.5 stars
Read : December 26 to 28, 2012
Format read : Kindle Edition

Are you ready for a story FULL OF ANGST? An EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER?

This is Jack's and Lexi story.

Now, it all begins when Lexi receives a call from Jack .They haven't speak in 2 years but you feel that there is a lot of  history between them. Jack asks her to come to Atlanta  and talk to his current girlfriend about their story and how he can commit (in fact he just wants the girlfriend to get of his back about it...a twisted way to do it,right?).

And Lexi says yes...

One of the awesome things about it, is that the story alternates between the past and the present, so we get to know how they met and how it all evolved from there.
And how history tends to repeat itself over and over again.

Yeah, many times i just wanted to slap them both and put some sense into their thick skulls. Their timing was always wrong and i just kept thinking in the song "I can't live with or without you"....that one should really be their song.

They have this CRAZY and AMAZING chemistry and they're so alike that i can't help thinking that they’re meant to be.
But seeing the story of this 2 unfold, we realize they can bring the best and the absolute worst in each other, and only they have the power to hurt beyond repair.

I lost count the amount of times that I yelled at my kindle, that I got frustrated, teary, happy…yep, this book is just such an emotional roller coaster, and I do think the book should come with an warning :
BE CAUTIOUS, YOU WILL FEEL TO MUCH WHILE READING IT!!

If that wasn't enough, Ramsey gets in the picture (Jack’s girlfriend brother) and I can say that I fell for him!
By him invading her personal space (sounds bad but the scenes where hilarious), how he is funny and sincere, how he can surprise and get under her skin, and just how he looks at her. And yep, they too have some crazy chemistry going on.

I will shut up now, I’m containing myself not to spoil anyone. (And not saying for which one of the guys I'm rooting for)!

This book is one of my favorites!
I’m a sucker for all that angst and such flawed characters, that I want to see redeem themselves in the end.
